George Maciunas (November 8, 1931-May 9, 1978) was a Lithuanian-American artist. He was influential in the Fluxus movement and is generally credited with being a founding member.

Maciunas was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, and moved to Germany for political and economic reasons. He died in Boston, USA
