Home of the Brave

Home of the Brave was a 1986 American concert film featuring the music of Laurie Anderson, who also directed the movie. The film included appearances by guitarist Adrian Belew and Beat author William S. Burroughs. The film was released by Warner Brothers. A soundtrack album, which contained a mixture of studio and live recordings, was released concurrently with the film. It was briefly available on VHS in the early 1990s, but as of 2005 has yet to be released on DVD.

Musical selections included songs taken from Anderson's 1984 album, Mister Heartbreak (the film was shot during a tour in support of the album), as well as a couple of selections from her United States multimedia show and several original pieces.
