Ikebukuro Station

Ikebukuro Station (池袋駅 Ikebukuro-eki) is Tokyo's second-busiest train station, after Shinjuku Station. It is located in the Ikebukuro district of Toshima Ward, and primarily serves commuters from Saitama and other residential areas northwest of the city center.

It is a terminal of Seibu Ikebukuro Line and Tōbu Tōjō Line. "Seibu" (西武) starts by the character in the west (西) in the Chinese character, but its platforms are in the east of the station. Oppositely, Tōbu (東武) starts by the character in the east (東) in the Chinese character, but its platforms are in the west of the station.
