Jeff Baxter

(Redirected from Jeff "Skunk" Baxter)

Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (born December 13, 1948 in Washington, D.C.) is an American rock guitarist. Allegedly, he got his nickname from «an antisocial habit». He worked with Steely Dan before leaving for the Doobie Brothers in 1974. He later did work for the television show King of the Hill.

Baxter is also a self-taught expert on missile defense systems and strategic planning, and serves as a consultant to the Pentagon.

In 2000, he was an unsuccessful Republican candidate for the United States House of Representatives in an election for a seat representing the San Fernando Valley in California.
