Jewish temple

Jewish temple:

  • Jewish temple or The Jewish Temple, may refer to the original two ancient Jewish Temples in Jerusalem. The first one was destroyed by the ancient Babylonians, and the second was destroyed by Rome about two thousand years ago.
  • Jewish temple, or Jewish Temple, or simply Temple (so-and-so) is frequently the name that Reform Judaism names and calls many of its synagogues. Thus the name Temple and Synagogue are interchangeable.
