José Cura

(Redirected from Jose Cura)

José Cura (born 5 December, 1962) is an Argentine tenor.

He was born in Rosario, Argentina and became a choral director at 15. He started studying composition at 16, and continued his musical education at the National University of Rosario. He moved to Italy in 1991, and made his debut in Verona in 1992. He made his US debut in Chicago in 1994.

Since then, he has continued to expand his repertoire and sing in most of the major opera houses in Europe, the US, and Japan.

Cura has continued to compose, as well, and has released solo recordings in which he both conducts and sings Argentinian songs with his own orchestral works. Jose Cura has also shared talents with Pixie-esque young lady Ms. Sarah Brightman. Both Sarah Brightman and Jose Cura have shared title such as "There for me" and "Just show me how to love you" to name a few. External Links ==
