Julia Barr (born Julia Rose Buchheit on February 8, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is an American actress.

She is most famous for her role as Brooke English on the soap opera All My Children, a role she has played since 1976. Barr's character is a successful journalist, having been married to many of Pine Valley's attractive bachelors, such as Tom Cudahy (Richard Shoberg), Adam Chandler (David Canary), and Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight).

In real life, Julia likes to sing, having recorded a CD called From Our House...To Yours, in which Julia sings many Christmas tunes.

In her spare time, Julia is also an advocate of animal rights. She believes in spaying and neutering, and is a spokesperson for the Fund for Animals .
