Julien Torma

Julien Torma (* Cambrai, France, April 6, 1902 - † Tyrol, February 17, 1933) is a French writer, playwright and poet.

Friend of Max Jacob and Robert Desnos, he was near of the surrealist group without never adhering to it, feelling himself nearer to Alfred Jarry's Pataphysics than of Andre Breton's Surrealism. His writings were mainly posthumously revealed by the French College of 'Pataphysique.
