Kemper Arena is an indoor arena in Kansas City, Missouri. It was home to the Kansas City Scouts of the NHL from 1974-1976 and the Kansas City Kings of the NBA from 1974-1985. Currently, it is the home of the Kansas City Comets of the Major Indoor Soccer League.

Completed in 1974, the arena was the site of the 1976 Republican National Convention. In 1999, the Kemper Arena gained infamy as it was the site of the shocking death (via an accidential fall from a botched stunt) of professional wrestler Owen Hart.

It seats 18,046 for ice hockey and 18,646 for basketball. The building was built in a rather unusual manner designed by Helmut Jahn, with three sets of steel trusses constructed outside of the building to hold up the roof, eliminating the need for interior pillars that would obstruct the field of view. The arena includes 25 luxury suites.
