Lance Burton

Lance Burton (born 10 March 1960) is an American stage magician who has his own show in Las Vegas at The Monte Carlo and has presented numerous TV specials.

William Lance Burton was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and he has been performing magic from a young age. He won the Grand Prix Award at FISM in 1982 for his dove act.

Burton almost died when an escape he was performing on the tracks of the Desparado rollercoaster at Primm in Nevada didn't go according to plan. He found he couldn't free himself easily, and escaped within seconds of the rollercoaster train hurtling past him.

He married Melinda Saxe in August 1993 , but they divorced a year later.
