Larry Burns (The Simpsons)

(Redirected from Larry Burns)

Larry Burns is a fictional character from The Simpsons voiced by Rodney Dangerfield. He is the illegitimate son of Charles Montgomery Burns and Lily Bancroft, daughter of a Yale classmate. Lily's family forced her to give up Larry to a orphanage, and according to Burns, her family "bundled her up to a convent in the South Seas." Regardless of the resources his father provides, Larry proves to be unsuccessful, albeit good natured.

During Larry's appearance on the show, he pretended to be kidnapped by Homer Simpson in order to catch the attention of his father.

The episode is called Burns Baby Burns.

Quotes

Yale Admissions Officer: We don't believe Larry is exactly "Yale material".
C.M. Burns: What do you mean?
Admissions Officer: Let me put it this way: Larry spelled "Yale" with a "6".

"I don't get no regard. No regard, I tell ya! No esteem either!"
