Lednice (historical German name Eisgrub) is a town in the Czech Republic which was put on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1996. It contains a castle and the largest park in the country, which covers 200 sq. km. The castle and park were worked on between the 17th and 20th centuries by the ruling princes of Liechtenstein. The castle is a combination of Baroque, classical and neo-Gothic styles. The Baroque part was mostly created by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. The surrounding park is laid out in an English garden style. It was added to the World Heritage list because it is "an exceptional example of the designed landscape that evolved in the Enlightenment and afterwards under the care of a single family."
