Linda Chavez-Thompson was born August 3, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas, is a Hispanic American trade union leader. She is the executive vice-president of the AFL-CIO and the vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee.

She is not to be confused with conservative talk show host Linda Chavez.
