Lou Macari

Lou Macari (born May 6, 1937 in Edinburgh) was a Scottish football player. Lou was an attacking midfielder for Manchester United in the 1970's. He was bought from Celtic in 1972. His first game for the club came in 1973 against West Ham. He scored the winner in the 1977 F.A. Cup final against Liverpool. After leaving United in 1984, he managed Swindon Town, Celtic and Hudderfield Town. He made 373 appearances for the club and scored 97 goals.
