Luxair Flight 9642

Luxair Flight 9642 was a flight from Tempelhof International Airport, Berlin, Germany to Luxembourg-Findel, Niederanven, Luxembourg, near Luxembourg City.

On 6 November 2002, LX-LGB, a Fokker 50 aircraft on the route crashed on final approach to the airport about 6 nautical miles short of the runway while trying to land in the fog. 20 out of 22 passengers and crew perished.
