Muhlburg is a borough of Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

In 1248 Mulenberc was first mentioned in a written document. In 1670 it received city rights. 1886 the town was incorporated into Karlsruhe - at that time Mühlburg had about 4100 citizen and covered an area of 210 ha.

Since 1901 the harbour of Karlsruhe at the river Rhine is located in Mühlburg. The most famous person from Mühlburg is Carl Benz, the inventor of the car, who was born there in 1884.
