A city in Iranian province of Lorestan near the Bakhtiyari mountains, northeast of Susa. It is home to a number of important archaeological find-sites. This pertain to the Susa-linked area known as Elam or Elymais , and may even have been its nucleus containing at some unknown point the capital city Anzan.
