Mark Walsh is an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and political activist. His former jobs include CEO of VerticalNet , America Online executive, and president of GEnie.
He is active in liberal politics; he was a founder and the former CEO of Air America Radio and an advisor to the Democratic National Committee.
He graduated from Union College in 1976 and is now a trustee of that college. He got his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1980. His first job was as a news anchor for a CBS affiliate in West Virginia.
