Mass Production (band)

Based in Richmond, Virginia, the ten-piece soul and disco group Mass Production had a series of minor R&B hits in the late '70s and early '80s.

Mass Production consisted of LeCoy Bryant, Kevin Douglas, James Drumgole, Agnes "Tiny" Kelly, Larry Marshall, Gregory McCoy, Emmanuel Redding, Ricardo Williams, Samuel Williams, and Tyrone Williams.

Their best-known song, "Firecracker," hit number four on the R&B charts in the late summer of 1979. The group stayed together for several more years, scoring a string of small hits, before deciding to disband in 1983.
