Menhit

In Egyptian mythology, Menhit ("she who massacres"; also Menchit) was a lion-goddess of war. Like most Egyptian war-deities, Mekhit was believed to ride ahead of the Egyptian armies and cut down the warriors of their enemies with fiery arrows. She was married to Chnum, with whom she was the mother of Hike. She was also depicted in many works as a lion headed female, with a crown of sorts. She may have been the daughter of SekhM'et with the first born children becoming more famous.Khnum may have been the first child of Set,most gods from far south egypt having horned animals as the image.Set's most scaret animal was a desert ox.Khnum a ram along with Amun,Anuket and Satet were Horned animals aswell. Menhit may have been the mother of the egyotian god montu who married a goddess name Menhet.A son of Horus,Anhur married a Menhet. As the wife of one of the most powerful Egyptian gods,Khnum,Menhet would not have had three husbands even thought he had at least 2 wife and may have gone by the name Amun of waSet (Karnak).
