Michael Beck (born February 4, 1949) is an American actor born John Michael Beck Taylor. He is known predominantly for his roles in Xanadu (1980), his oscar-flirting performance as "Swan" in the hit film The Warriors (1979), and his turn as "Dallas" in Megaforce (1982).

It was on the set of his short-lived television series, Houston Knights (1987), in which he played the role of Sgt. Levon Lundy, that Beck, angered by what he described as "the wreck of Western culture", re-located to South Australia, Australia.

To this day he lives with his partner, Warren Veljanovski, just north of Adelaide.
