Mix 96 is the local radio station for the town of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. First airing in 1994 it was the first radio station to gain a permanent licence to broadcast from Aylesbury, previous local broadcasts emanating from Fox FM (that broadcasts from Oxfordshire) and Chiltern Radio (that broadcasts from Bedfordshire). As such it is considered by many to be the main radio station for the Aylesbury area.
Its playlist, although contemporary, tends to lean towards older songs than current bestsellers. Current well known presenters include Nathan Cooper, Fiona Faulkner and Penny Harper.
