Nandi

In Hinduism, Nandi is the white bull which Shiva rides, and the leader of the Ganas.

In western Kenya, the Nandi is an ethnic group or tribe and is a sub-group of the Kalenjin.

Nandi was a daughter of the Langeni tribe and the mother of the legendary Shaka, King of the Zulu.

In Fiji the third largest city is Nadi, which is a pronounced as a homonym for Nandi in the local language of Fijian.
