Obshtina Nesebar ( Municipality of Nessebar ) takes the northern part of the Black Sea coast of the district of Burgas. Its northern border is with Obshtina ( the Municipalities ) Biala (Bulgaria) and Dolni Chiflik , its western border - with Obshtina ( the Municipality ) Pomorie, and its eastern border is the Black Sea. The long coastline and its diversity character create favourable conditions for the tourism development. The municipal center town of Nessebar is located at 20 km from international airport Burgas.
