Oda von Haldensleben

Oda von Haldensleben (before 978-1023) was the daughter of the count of the North March Theoderich or Dietrich. According to most accounts she was a nun who was abducted from the monastery of Kolbe by Mieszko I.

Oda and her sons by the duke Mieszko I (named as Dagome), ruler of the Polans tribe appear in a document known as Dagome Iudex. The document itself is one of the keys to this portion of the history of Poland under the Piasts.
