The Omani Rial (ISO 4217 code OMR) is the official currency of Oman. It is sub-divided into 1000 Baiza. Omani coins and bank notes typically come in the following denominations: 100 Baiza, 200 Baiza, 1/4 Rial, 1/2 Rial, 1 Rial, 5 Rial, 10 Rial.

As of January 18, 2005, one Omani Rial was worth 2.59067 United States dollars. It is the fourth highest valued currency after the Kuwaiti Dinar, Maltese Lira, and the Bahraini dinar.
