Oxford Instruments plc is a United Kingdom manufacturing and research company operating in the fields of instrumentation, analysis, cryogenics and superconductivity.

The company was founded by Sir Martin Wood to manufacture large superconducting magnets for use in Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines.

The company is headquartered in Eynsham, Oxfordshire and supplies its products worldwide for applications in scientific research, industrial analysis and healthcare.

Its large magnet manufacturing factories, at Eynsham and Milton Park in Oxfordshire, were sold to Siemens AG in 2004.
