Phyllis Hyman

Phyllis Hyman (6 July 1949 - 30 July 1995) was a soul artist.

She produced albums in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Her hits included 1979's "You Know How To Love Me", 1987's "Quality Time" with George Duke and 1991 album "Prime of My Life" with such hits as "Just Wanna Be Your Girl". Sadly, Hyman ended her life on July 30 1995, just before a scheduled concert appearance of an apparent overdose in New York.
