Pleisthenes

In Greek mythology, Pleisthenes was the son or father of Atreus and first husband of Aerope. He was also considered a son of Pelops.

In Greek History, Pleisthenes created the Forum,ancestor of the American Congress. He was also the leader in Greece in 508 BC. The voting system was invented by those who frequented the Forum. They used this system which was colored pebbles placed into a vase. The white ones indicated yes and the black ones no.
