Post-cognitivist psychology

Post-cognitivist psychology comprises varieties of psychology which emerged in the 1990s which challenged the basic assumptions of cognitivism or even information processing models of cognition. Important predecessors of these movements include critical psychology, humanistic psychology, activity theory, and ecological psychology.
