Prahova River

Prahova is a river of Southern Romania, which rises from the Bucegi Mountains, in the Carpathians and flows into the Ialomiţa (near Adāncata ).

It has a lengths 183 kilometers, of which 6 km in Braşov county, 161 km in Prahova county and the last 16 km in Ilfov county.

Prahova's basin has 3740 km2, which is about 75% of the surface of the Prahova county.
