Prince Koreyasu

Prince Koreyasu (惟康親王) (May 26, 1264November 25, 1326; r. 12661289) was the 7th shogun of the Kamakura shogunate of Japan. He was the nominal ruler controlled by Hojo regents.

Prince Koreyasu was born to 6th shogun Prince Munetaka in Kamakura. He was installed as the 7th shogun at the age of two when his father was deposed. He did nothing effective while in post. He was deposed at the age of 25 because he grew "too old" to be a puppet ruler.
