Pure Hell of St Trinian's

Pure Hell of St Trinian's was a comedy film set in the fictional St Trinian's School, made in 1960.

Directed by Frank Launder and written by him and Sidney Gilliat, it was the third in a series of four films starring well-known British actors such as George Cole as Flash Harry, Sid James, John Le Mesurier, and Joyce Grenfell as Sgt. Ruby Gates, a local policewoman. Irene Handl again played a member of the staff.

The students of the school become part of a sheik's harem but again also battle against the Ministry of Education, their "mistresses" (the teachers), the local police force and amongst each other.
