Rhode Island State Highway 5 is a numbered State Highway running 26.0 miles in Rhode Island. A trip along RI 5 gives the traveler a view of a high-traffic commercial corridor through Warwick, Cranston and Johnston while also providing a view of beautiful rural communities in northern Rhode Island.

RI 5 takes the following route through the State:

RI 5 becomes an unnumbered road in Massachusetts. However, the northernmost RI 5 shields are at RI 102, at the south end of the RI 146A multiplex, so to the public it appears to end at other numbered State Highways.

RI 5 crosses RI 2 at the Meshanticut Interchange.
