Rachel Fuller Brown

Rachel Fuller Brown (November 23, 1898 - January 14, 1980), was born in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Brown received her undergraduate education at Mount Holyoke College and her graduate education in chemistry from the University of Chicago.

Brown collaborated with Elizabeth Lee Hazen through postal mail to develop the first useful antifungal antibiotic, nystatin. Brown and Hazen donated all nystatin royalties (more than $13 million) to the nonprofit Research Corporation .
