Rano Raraku

Rano Raraku is a stone quarry located on Easter Island, Chile, which was the source of stone for the many famous monolithic carved sculptures (Moai) found around the island. Several Moai lay unfinished in this place, as well as several that could not be lifted due to their tremendous size.
