Rock in Rio is the biggest rock festival in Brazil, and probably overseas as well. The first one was held in 1985 and 1,4 million people attend. Queen are the headline act for the huge Rock in Rio Festival. Though the festival runs for ten days. Both Queenshows were filmed (12th and 19th January) and broadcasted throughout South America by Globo TV and each show were watched by nearly 200 million people. For the Queenshows an estimated audience of 325.000 attend each show. This was the world record (and still is) for biggest paying audience.
