Roel Renmans (December 30 1977), is a freelance illustrator and painter from Leuven, Belgium. He works on several schoolbooks (Van In publisher), has illustrated in historical magazines (Histoire Médiévale, France), newspapers (e.g. Rijn en Gouwe, Netherlands) and did commissions for historical societies in the UK. In 2003 he won a prize in the Nationale Stripfestival (national comicbooks festival) in Brussels.
