Sea lettuce

Sea lettuce (Ulva lactuca), sometimes known simply as ulva, is a type of green algae eaten as an edible seaweed. It is eaten raw in salads, or cooked in soups. It is a popular food in both Scotland and Japan. It's high in iron and provides a great deal of protein and soluble fiber , as well as a variety of vitamins and minerals.
