Sepik-Ramu languages

The Sepik-Ramu languages are a language family from New Guinea. It is thought that they consist of 104 different languages, although this is disputed. The Sepik-Ramu languages are sometimes referred to as part of the Papuan languages, although this is more of a catch-all title rather than a linguistically proven classification.

Subdivisions

  • Gapun (1 language)
  • Leonhard Schultze languages (6 languages)
  • Nor-Pondo languages (6 languages)
  • Ramu languages (37 languages)
  • Sepik languages (54 languages)
