Serrekunda or Serekunda is the largest city in the Gambia, lying south west of Banjul. It is known for its market, its silk cotton tree and its wrestling arena. The town's suburbs include Kanifing, Labrikunda , Sukuta and London Corner , and the town flows into the seaside resorts of Bakau, Fajara and Kotu .
