Space Age Batchelor Pad Music is an album by the band Stereolab, originally released in March 1993. Strongly contrasted, Space Age Batchelor Pad Music offers a mix that floats between Krautrock (We're Not Adult Oriented) and Dream Pop / Easy Listening. Those two genres can be clearly identified. Notice that the album cover actually says “Space Age BATCHELOR Pad Music” which could be a typo, as the tracks of the same name are correctly spelled.
The album gets its name from a popular description of the music of band leader and composer Esquivel.
