Space and Missile Badge

The Space and Missile Badge is a military badge of the United States Air Force which is awarded to those personnel who have completed training in airborne defense, space systems command and control, and missile force deployment. The badge is most often presented to those Air Force officers who have received the Missilier Badge as well as Air Force enlisted personnel who serve as support crews stationed at nuclear missile silos.

The Space and Missile Badge is presented in three grades being that of basic, master, and senior. The basic badge is awarded for completion of standard space and air defense training while the senior and master badges are awarded based on years of service in Air Force Missile units, normally seven and fifteen years respectively. The higher grades of the decoration are denoted by a star (senior) and wreath (master) centered above the decoration.
