Spider-Man 3 is the third movie in the Spider-Man series and is planned for an American release on May 4, 2007. The movie will be directed by Sam Raimi. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco are the confirmed returning cast members from the previous two Spider-Man movies.
It has been confirmed that the actor Thomas Haden Church will be playing the main villain. The Sandman or Venom are the two most rumored possibilities. The Lizard, once considered the most likely option, has been removed as a possibility as the actor who plays Dr. Conners is not Church. Another villain could be Green Goblin returning from the first movie, played by Franco.
Latino Review states that the villains are Sandman and Hobgoblin.
