St Clears (Welsh: Sanclêr) is a small town on the River Taf in Carmarthenshire, Wales. According to the 2001 UK census, it has a population of 2,820 people.
The Norman St Clears Castle was constructed, the ruins of which can still be seen, and in the twelfth century the town grew around it.
