St Martin's is located in the South-East of Guernsey. It borders The Forest in the South-West, St Andrew's in the North-West and St Peter Port in the North-East. St Martin's also has a very small detatchment in the West.

Beaches

The coast has quite a lot of cliffs but the beaches in St Martin's (from South-West to North-East) include:

  • Part of Petit Bot Bay (pronounced 'Petty Bow')
  • Saint's Bay
  • Moulin Huet (see 'features' below)
  • Petit Port (the beach is currently innaccesable from land at the moment, as the steps leading to it have been damaged)
  • Marble Bar (also known as Le Pied du Mur)
  • Part of Fermain Bay

St Martin's is the second highest parish (the highest is The Forest). The highest areas in the parish are in the middle but this gently slopes down to the edges, where on the coast, it finishes off with steep cliffs.

  • Jebourg Point, the most South-Easterly point in the island
  • Moulin Huet Bay (this large area of water includes Saint's Bay, Moulin Huet and Petit Port)
  • The Princess Elizabeth Hospital (also known as the PEH)
