St Peter's, York

Founded in the English city of York by Paulinus of York in 627, St Peter's School is a co-educational independent school currently located just outside the city in Clifton.

It currently comprises three schools:

  • Clifton Preparatory School (ages 3-8)
  • St. Olave's School (ages 8-13)
  • St. Peter's School (ages 13-18)

Recently, the school purchased and refurbished the nearby Queen Anne school buildings, and St. Olave's school now occupies these premises.

Notable Alumni

Some Old Peterites (as alumni of the school are known) add the letters "OP" as a post-nominal.
