Founded by Rick Goodman in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Stainless Steel Studios is a developer of strategy PC games. Their first game, Empire Earth (2001), was a success for their studio and for their publisher, Sierra Entertainment. The company also created Empires: Dawn of the Modern World (2003) and the Titan game engine used in their games and licensed by others to make games such as (2004).
