Star Jones Reynolds

Starlet Marie Jones Reynolds (born March 24, 1962 in Badin, North Carolina), is one of the stars of The View, a popular women-oriented talk show on the American Broadcasting Company television network. She is a former lawyer and prosecutor. She earned her B.A. at American University and got her law degree from the University of Houston.

Prior to joining the cast of The View she was a correspondent and the chief legal analyst on Inside Edition, where she covered the O. J. Simpson murder trial and was the only one to interview him during his civil trial.

In June 2003 Jones was sued by a landscaping company, which alleged she had agreed to ensure that the firm would receive credit for their work on a rooftop garden for her Upper East Side penthouse duplex in a quid pro quo exchange. The work was done in advance of an article about her home in the October 2003 issue of Architectural Digest . The Smoking Gun website reported on the suit, and including a copy of a letter she signed which agreed to the deal.

Star Jones married banker Al Reynolds in November of 2004.
