Starvin' Marvin

Starvin' Marvin is a fictional character in the South Park animated cartoon television series. The name is probably inspired by the Starvin' Marvin's gas station chain.

Starvin' Marvin originally appeared in episode 109 He was sent to Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny after they donated 5 dollars to an Ethiopian fund for starving children (led by Sally Struthers) in order to earn a TAKO sports watch. They are accidentally sent a small Ethiopian boy they call Starvin' Marvin.

Though the episode is set in East African Ethiopia, Starvin' Marvin speaks a language with click consonants, which are more often found in Khoisan languages such as those of the Xhosa people of South Africa.

He later appears in episode 311 along with the Marklar race.
